It is amazing how tall the ferns have grown since they were just tiny fiddle-heads!
Does anyone know what this flower is?
Jack-in-the-pulpitWe discovered at least 3 different types of ferns in “our” swamp.
We observed the lily-of-the-valley when they first poked their heads above ground, then unfurled their leaves, and finally bloomed their strongly scented bells!
Kids will never be bored if we allow them the time to explore in nature.
Looking up close at something real rather than something virtual. How did the kids even notice this amazing bug? It was so well camouflaged.
